Our next award winning Circus Maximus will be held on Sunday 29th June, 2014. Circus Maximus, held at the end of each semester, is an opportunity for all our Circus School students to show off their hard work during the semester’s classes, and is also our major bi-annual community and fundraising event. Circus School students will perform alongside Performance Program members and guest professional artists, and the day will also include games, competitions and a fundraising lunch.
Circus Maximus runs between 9am and approx. 4pm. Performance schedules are currently being finalised and we will be in touch to let you know when your child will be on stage, and confirm their attendance, in the next couple of weeks.
Circus Maximus relies on volunteers to assist with our fundraising efforts, and jobs can include selling raffle tickets and taking entry donations, assisting with the sale of lunch, setting up in the morning and packing up in the afternoon. If you are keen to play a part in Circus Maximus 2014 you can return the form handed out in class this week, or add your name to our volunteer register at Reception. We’ll contact everyone who has expressed interest shortly to plan a roster for the day. If you can’t volunteer but would still like to contribute, we’ll again be asking for donations of a plate of salad to sell as part of our fundraising lunch.
