Missed Classes

Single missed classes : If you can't attend a class, Cirkidz would appreciate a phone call from you to allow others wanting a make up class to be notified of the availability.

Make up classes are available for single missed classes, but single missed classes will not be refunded or credited in lieu of a makeup class. To schedule a make up class, Cirkidz must be notified of non-attendance before the missed class begins. Make Up classes can not be booked retrospectively.

Two or more consecutive missed classes: Refunds and credits will only be processed when Cirkidz receives written notification to circus@crikidz.org.au with minimum of 4 weeks prior to the break in classes.

Abandoned enrolment: Cirkidz will consider your enrolment abandoned if four consecutive classes are missed without notification and your place will be offered to the waiting list. Cirkidz will pursue outstanding fees from abandoned enrolments.

What to wear and bring to class

Please ensure that your child has a water bottle at every class.

Stretchy comfortable clothes (track pants, shorts, leggings and t-shirt).  NO jeans, skirts, belts, buckles or zips. Jewellery and watches need to be removed, so we recommend leaving them at home.

Please tie back all hair long enough to swing in front of the face. This applies to both genders.

Please remember that there are NO SHOES allowed on the mats, however, closed toe footwear is required for some skills and should be brought to class regardless.  Footwear is required when outside and when going to the toilet.  Please help by providing footwear that's easy to put on and take off.

Code of Conduct

For Participants, Parents, Guardians and Visitors at Cirkidz:

  • Please drop off and collect your child from the parent waiting room.
  • Please supervise participants before and after class.
  • Parents and children not participating in class are not permitted in the training space without permission from a trainer or staff member.
  • Do not smoke in or on Cirkidz premises (including the car park) or enter Cirkidz premises affected by alcohol or drugs.
  • Do not bring your child/ren to Cirkidz when they have an infectious disease, or any injury or medical condition that might put them or others at risk of illness or injury.

If you child has lice please notify Cirkidz at circus@cirkidz.org.au and keep your child home from class until they are clear of nits. Cirkidz will arrange make up classes where possible.
